This is to inform you that most Embassies and Consulates across India will remain closed between 24 December 2025 and 04 January 2026 due to the Christmas and New Year festive season.
Several Embassies and Consulates have declared holidays on different dates during this period, while some have not yet announced their holiday schedules and may do so at a later stage. Additionally, certain Embassies may revise their declared holidays without prior notice.
As many Embassies have not officially published complete holiday notices, it is not possible to track or confirm closure dates for each Embassy or Consulate individually. Although we are making efforts to share holiday updates through newsletters, some Embassies may still announce closures without advance notice during the coming weeks.
Therefore, we strongly advise all applicants to personally check with the respective Embassy or Consulate before visiting for visa submission, interview, or passport collection until 04 January 2026.
