Please note the updated China Visa Application guidelines announced by the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi. These changes apply to all applicants across India submitting their China visa through the Chinese Visa Application Service Centers in Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata.
🔄 New Online Application Process – Effective from 22 December 2025
Starting 22 December 2025, the following steps will be mandatory:
1. Online Visa Application (New Portal)
Applicants must:

Fill out the new online visa application form on the updated portal

Upload scanned copies of all required documents

Pay VFS service charges online
-
Review and submit the application online
2. Embassy Review
After online submission:

The Chinese Embassy will review the form and uploaded documents

Once review is completed, the system will update the status to “Online Review Completed”

Applicants will also receive a confirmation email with instructions for next steps
3. Physical Submission
After receiving the confirmation email:

Applicants must submit their passport, along with any additional documents requested, at the respective Visa Center

Visa fees will be paid during physical submission
📅 Timeline & Important Dates

Old visa forms will be accepted only until 16 December 2025

The new online portal will be operational from 17 December 2025
-
17–19 December 2025: No new visa applications will be accepted

From 22 December 2025 onwards:
Only applications submitted and approved through the new online process will be accepted at VFS centers -
Applications already filled using the existing form must be submitted to VFS before 16 December 2025.
